STP
The Straight-Through Processing Project (STP) has been split into 4 separate components:-
ETI Electronic Trade Initiation
ETC Electronic Trade Confirmation
ETS Electronic Trade Settlement
EDI Electronic Data Interchange
As
ETC involves post trade management and includes electronic contract
notes and electronic confirmations the ETC deliverable falls under the
Clearing & Settlement Division.
A brief overview of the ETC deliverable functions include:-

Setting up of the technical infrastructure within the JSE to deal with ETC

Arranging testing between Investment Managers and members

Monitoring of ETC systems for backlogs and problems

Roll-out of ETC to further Investment Managers
