SWIFT
Introduction
The SWIFT business area includes 1) the JSEs and members connection to the SWIFT network through the Shared SWIFTNet Connection via STRATE for SWIFT related traffic and 2) the Host-To-Host connection to STRATE for settlement related traffic.
A brief overview of the SWIFT business area includes:-
- Maintenance of the Shared SWIFTNet Connection through STRATE which includes the monitoring of the adherence by STRATE to the Service Schedule
- Training of JSE staff and members
- Statistics on SWIFT messages
- Billing for SWIFT messages
- Interacting with SWIFT with regard to reduction of costs
- Prioritize current and forthcoming projects
- Implementation of projects (SRG)
- Completing and updating all SWIFT documentation
