Data provider
The data provider to the SRI Index is responsible for collecting all raw data relating to the companies being assessed and conducting in-depth research into and analysis of each such company with regard to their performance against the Criteria.
Inclusion in the Index is determined by the number of indicators met in relation to the Criteria requirement, based on analysis of the information collected about the company during the review process.
Since the 2007 SRI Index review, the data provider is Ethical Investment Research Services (EIRIS), a UK-based organisation and a global leader in corporate sustainability and responsibility research.
