The Commodity Derivatives Division will be hosting an interactive session with the following market experts to better understand the metal and energy products available on the JSE thanks to a licensing agreement with US based, CME Group.

Charles Leishman: Standard Bank, will clarify the role of a market maker and the liquidity they provide including how to hedge out your currency risk to achieve a dollar reference price,

Gerhard Labuschagne: BVG, listen to various trading strategies specific to the use of crude oil in order to hedge your exposure to the underlying oil market

Drew Markson: CJS Securities, will share through the use of specific option trading strategies how opportunities in the market can be harnessed.
