Historical Data
The JSE is able to provide a wide range of historical market data, whether it is for a single share or for a range of dates for a reasonable fee, across all our markets. If you would like to obtain historical market data from the JSE, please complete the Historical Data Order Form and send your request to
info@jse.co.za. A customer support agent will acknowledgment your request and provide a response (which will include a quote) in due course. If you wish to first understand the historical data available then send an email to the same email address.
If you require the historical data to support an education activity then the JSE will consider waiving historical data fees but on the basis that certain conditions are met. Please refer to section 8.10 of the Information Distribution Guide for the “Information for Education” data policy for the terms and conditions. If you wish to proceed on the basis of the policy, please complete the Historical Data Order Form and indicate in the relevant place that it is to support an Academic activity.
