Key Information Documents (KIDs)

The JSE has provided a suite of Key Information Documents (KIDs) which cover certain products in response to the EU Regulation on packaged retail and insurance-based investment products (PRIIPs) which requires KIDs to be drawn up for certain investment products, including exchange traded derivatives. The purpose of these documents is to provide EU retail clients with key information regarding the products to enable them to make an informed investment decision and to be able to compare different products.

The JSE has provided aggregated KIDs per asset class and has set out the various permutations for options (put, call, long and short). The KIDs are provided in English, but may be made available in other EU official languages on request.
