Stock Exchange News Service (SENS)
The JSE offers a Stock Exchange News Service (SENS) that provides users with listed company announcements such as mergers, take-overs, rights offers, capital issues and cautionaries, all of which directly impact the movement in the market. These announcements are provided in a user-friendly PDF format.
End of day Data
The end-of-day SENS data products are offered via the JSE’s world-class Information Dissemination Portal (IDP) and made available through a client-specific file transfer protocol format. (In either text or PDF format).
Live SENS Data is provided through a live feed via the Regulatory News Gateway. Clients can link directly to the JSE hub in South Africa for access to SENS Data.
The JSE does not provide a direct feed for delayed market data. If you want to access delayed market announcement data for internal use or re-distribution, please contact a live data distributor offering this service. You could also directly subscribe to the live service and delay the data. Data must be delayed by at least 15 minutes to be classified as delayed.
