Gideon Pogrund

  • A business ethics specialist drawing on diverse studies, skills and experiences. He is a Cambridge University graduate, a rabbi and a former commodity trader who has participated in high-level academic, government and inter-faith forums, and features as an international speaker and scholar-in-residence. He has devoted many years to studying and teaching business ethics, and is currently writing a book on the subject.
  • He co-founded Ethics Evolution, a training and consultancy organisation which helps corporations achieve competitive advantage through improving the ethical thinking and behaviour of their employees.
  • He is also leading the establishment of an ethics think tank at GIBS (Gordon Institute of Business Science), which aims to leverage the talents of senior business leaders to make a significant practical contribution to the ethical state of business in South Africa.
