JSE issues apology for the incorrect meta description on broker search

JSE Limited (“JSE) was alerted to an incorrect meta description automatically generated by search engines when searches relating to the JSE in relation to company information is performed. This resulted in the JSE’s awareness campaign relating to a cautionary pop-up on the JSE website regarding investment scams being displayed in search results.

The JSE has implemented technical measures to remedy the incorrect description.

Listing debt securities on the JSE including recent amendments to the Debt Listing Requirements

This 4 hour course on the listing of debt instruments on the JSE is designed to impart an understanding of, inter alia, a company's capital structure, the differences between equity and debt and the criteria for and process of listing debt instruments on the JSE. In addition the aim is to build an understanding of the JSE Debt Listings Requirements applicable to a listing of corporate bonds and other debt instruments on the interest rate market of the JSE (formerly the Bond Exchange).

The course will also cover the recent amendments to the Debt Listing Requirements
