The FTSE/JSE Global Investor Index is based on the principle that all dual-listed shares are fungible.

The approach makes no adjustment for the Strate register and weights all companies, including dual-listed companies, on their global free float.

This index consists of the top 50 companies from the FTSE/JSE All Share Index when ranked by investable market capitalisation.

Constituent weighting will be capped at 10% on a quarterly basis after the application of corporate actions. Buffers will be applied at each quarterly review to provide stability.
