PRESIDENTIAL CLIMATE COMMISSION (PCC) IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE JOHANNESBURG STOCK EXCHANGE (JSE) WILL HOLD A FINANCIAL SECTOR CONSULTATIVE FORUM ON THE JUST TRANSITION FRAMEWORK ON TUESDAY 26 APRIL 2022, 08H30-12H00.
The Presidential Climate Commission (PCC) in collaboration with the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) invites you to the Financial Sector Consultation Forum to discuss the draft Just Transition Framework which was recently published by the PCC.
The Just Transition Framework aims to serve as a blueprint that guides us in achieving a just and equitable transition to net-zero CO2 emissions in South Africa. This national framework will outline and give guidance on the roles of all social partners in order to address the challenges of climate change, through a co-ordinated and aligned strategy of mitigation and adaptation pathways within a just transition.
Please join this forum to engage with the PCC and broader financial sector on the Just Transition Framework.
This event will allow for both in person or virtual attendance in order to accommodate participants from around the country. Upon registration, you will be required to indicate if your attendance will be virtual or in-person.
