Active investments in emerging markets offer long-term growth and for many, South Africa is the gate way to access the African continent. The Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) has had a compound annual growth rate of 11% in local currency over the past 15 years; and according to the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), the JSE is the 18th largest stock exchange globally by market capitalisation and is the largest stock exchange on the African continent. The JSE offers secure, efficient primary and secondary capital markets across a diverse range of securities, including equities, derivatives and debt markets which present investors with a plethora of choices in both trading and investment opportunities. We also offer state of the art technology in trading and post-trade services as well as a cutting-edge colocation facility.

JSE SA Trade Connect offers you the unique opportunity to network with C-Suite delegates from our local and international buy side, sell side, connectivity providers, software vendors, liquidity providers and other senior players in the trading ecosystem. Gain insight from SA’s top economists and analysts which include Gina Schoeman (Citi Bank), Annabel Bishop (Investec) and Isaah Mhlanga (Alexander Forbes). Herman Warren (The Economist) will give us a deep dive into opportunities in Africa and Colin Coleman (Goldman Sachs Sub-Saharan) will delve into the local political landscape. Andy Baker (ABSA) will share his view on a panel on technology buying or building. Hear from one of SA’s top strategists and have the exclusive opportunity to hear about what SA Regulation dictates from Shaun Davies, Andre Visser and a regulatory advisor.
