Group Tour​

The JSE welcomes the interest in visiting groups wishing to meet with JSE representatives. We would like the public to be aware of the following:

  • The JSE no longer has a trading floor, it moved to electronic trading on 7 June 1996, ending 108 years of the open outcry. In light of this, the JSE does not provide guided tours of the JSE.
  • The JSE does provide presentations on its operations to listed companies, regional and international stock exchanges, local, regional and international government representatives, diplomats and university students.
    • These groups should be groups of no less than 15 – 25 individuals.
    • Presentations are conducted for an hour and only two presentations are given in each month, and requests should be sent three months in advance.
    • Visiting groups should be prepared to join with other visiting groups in attendance on their visits to the JSE.

DIRECTIONS TO THE JSE

FROM N3/DURBAN

  • Follow all directions to Johannesburg on N3 North, until N1/M1/N3 Interchange.

FROM N1 SOUTH

  • Follow all directions to Johannesburg on N1 from Polokwane/Pretoria/Tshwane until N1/M1/N3 Interchange.
  • At the N3/N1/M1 Interchange, take M1 South towards Johannesburg and Sandton.
  • Pass Woodmead and Marlboro off-ramps.
  • Take next off-ramp, which is Grayston Drive.
  • At the traffic light turn right towards Sandton (West) and drive over the bridge.
  • Do not follow Katherine Road.
  • Keep in the middle lane towards Parkmore.
  • Turn left at Linden Road traffic light (fire station on your left).
  • The road winds up to a four-way stop (on corner Linden and Daisy streets).
  • Cross over Daisy Street.
  • Next traffic light is corner Rivonia and Linden. Cross over the street, leaving Village Walk Mall on your left. Linden changes to Ma​ude Street.
  • By this time, the JSE sign can be seen on the building on your right.
  • At corner Maude and Gwen, turn right.
  • The JSE is on your right. The security officers at the gate will direct you for parking and the reception.
